Abstract

Monitoring nutritional status in early childhood is a crucial step to support optimal growth and development. Kindergarten teachers play an important role in early childhood nutrition monitoring. They can observe early signs of nutritional problems that may not be visible to parents, as well as provide nutrition education and advice on healthy eating patterns. Trained kindergarten teachers can detect nutrition problems early and intervene as needed. Strengthening the role of kindergarten teachers in nutrition monitoring involves systematic training to improve their knowledge and skills in nutrition measurement, as well as cooperation with parents and related institutions. The training methods include needs analysis, planning of training materials, and training implementation and evaluation. The results of the training showed significant improvements in teachers' knowledge and practical skills, implementation of healthy food programs, and routine nutrition monitoring. Continuous training and cross-sector collaboration between education, health and parent communities are expected to support optimal health and development of early childhood and create a foundation for future healthy living.
