PELATIHAN TATA KELOLA ARISAN PADA IBU-IBU PKK

Abstract

Arisan (social savings and credit) is a social and financial practice widely practiced by residents of residential areas in Batam City. Although it serves as a means of strengthening social ties and a mechanism for collective fundraising, arisan management often faces various problems, such as messy financial records, the absence of accountability reports, and a lack of understanding of the principles of transparency and accountability. This community service activity aims to improve the capacity of arisan administrators and members through training in financial literacy, simple bookkeeping, cash flow reporting, and the formulation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for arisan management. Implementation methods include outreach, technical workshops, arisan management simulations, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity indicate an increase in participants' knowledge of group financial management, the development of arisan management SOPs, and the availability of easy-to-use cash book and financial report templates. This program contributes to strengthening transparency, accountability, and trust among members, thus supporting the sustainability of arisan groups in residential areas.
