Efektivitas Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Media Articulate Storyline pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan

Abstract

The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model is considered effective in improving students' critical thinking skills because it emphasizes authentic problem-solving activities. The use of interactive digital media such as Articulate Storyline has also been proven to improve conceptual understanding through more concrete visualization of material. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of PBL assisted by Articulate Storyline on student learning outcomes in environmental pollution material. The study used a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that PBL assisted by Articulate Storyline media provided a significant increase in conceptual understanding with N-gain scores ranging from moderate to high. Thus, this model is effective as an alternative for teaching biology on environmental topics.
