Abstract

       This research aims to reveal the diversity of insects in the Great Forest Park (TAHURA), Carita, Banten, Indonesia. This research used a roaming method with the help of Insect Neet and Pit Fall Trap which were installed at 4 different stations. Observation parameters include description and species diversity. Apart from that, environmental parameters were also observed, including light intensity, air temperature, and air humidity. Based on the results of this research, 165 individuals from 7 orders were found, namely the orders Odonata, Orthoptera, Lepidoptera, Araneae, Hemiptera, Hymenoptera, and Diptera. With a diversity index of around 2.50. and the divorce results were moderate with the highest number found in the Ordonata order, namely Neurothemis ramburii, around 30.9%, and the lowest number found in the Hemiptera order, namely the Bothrogonia addita species, around 0,6%.
