PENGABDIAN BERSAMA KEPADA MASYARAKAT BADUY MUALAF MELALUI PENDAMPINGAN PENDIDIKAN DAN KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN
Abstract
Baduy converts require specific support in education and environmental health as they adapt to their new religious and social lives. This article describes a collaborative community service initiative for Baduy converts, focusing on religious education, basic literacy, and environmental health. The activities involved needs assessment, training and mentoring, and reflection sessions with community leaders. The results indicate improved basic knowledge regarding formal education, hygiene and sanitation practices, and participation in religious activities. The initiative demonstrates that community service grounded in collaboration and respect for local culture can facilitate the adaptation process and foster self-reliance among Baduy convertsReferences
