PENINGKATAN USAHA BUDIDAYA RUMPUT LAUT DI PULAU LEMUKUTAN

Lemukutan Island in Bengkayang Regency has strong potential for seaweed cultivation, yet its utilization remains suboptimal due to limited technical knowledge, traditional practices, low value-added processing, and weak financial management. This community service program aimed to enhance farmers’ capacity through a multidisciplinary approach covering agribusiness, management, and accounting. Using a participatory method the program improved cultivation techniques, business awareness, and financial recording practices. Results indicate increased farmer knowledge and improved production practices, although challenges such as market access, price stability, and sustainability persist. Continuous collaboration among stakeholders is essential to ensure long-term impact.References
