Pengelolaan Pembelajaran Sentra Balok dan Sentra Seni di RA Ulil Albab Rangkasbitung

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of learning in the building blocks and arts centres at RA Ulil Albab Rangkasbitung, with a view to improving the quality of early childhood education. The background to this study is the limited implementation of child-centred learning and the sub-optimal use of learning materials in the building blocks and arts centres. The methods used in this Community Service (PKM) activity were a participatory approach through training, mentoring, observation, and direct practice in the classroom. The results of the activity showed an improvement in teachers’ ability to design and implement centre-based learning, as well as an increase in children’s activity, creativity, and independence in learning activities. The block centre is capable of developing children’s cognitive abilities and cooperation, whilst the art centre enhances creativity and self-expression. Thus, the management of learning in the block and art centres has proven effective in creating active, creative, and enjoyable learning at RA Ulil Albab Rangkasbitung on a sustainable basis.
