Pendampingan Guru TK dalam Menciptakan Lingkungan Belajar Kaya Stimulasi untuk Pengembangan Kognitif Anak

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to enhance the competence of nursery school teachers in creating a stimulating learning environment to support the cognitive development of young children. The challenge faced by our partners is the limited ability of teachers to design a learning environment that is varied, interactive, and aligned with children’s developmental characteristics. The activity was implemented using a participatory approach through stages of training, mentoring, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the activity demonstrated an improvement in teachers’ understanding and skills in arranging the classroom, developing creative learning materials, and utilising the surrounding environment as a learning resource. The impact of this activity is evident in the improved quality of learning, which is now more interactive and enjoyable, as well as in the children’s more optimal cognitive development. Thus, this mentoring programme is effective in enhancing teachers’ professionalism and the quality of early childhood education.
