Abstract

Parking management on university campuses often faces challenges such as limited capacity, manual recording errors, and the lack of real-time parking availability information. These issues lead to operational inefficiencies and reduced convenience for vehicle users. This study aims to design and develop a web-based car parking application to improve the efficiency of campus parking management. The system development process adopts the waterfall model, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application is built using web technologies and a centralized database, enabling digital recording of vehicle entry and exit, as well as real-time monitoring of parking capacity. Test results show that the application improves administrative processing time, reduces recording errors, and enhances the ability of administrators to monitor parking conditions. Therefore, this application serves as an effective solution to support more efficient and modern campus parking management.
