Abstract

Abstract  This study aims to analyze the implementation of STEAM learning in early childhood education (PAUD) and its impact on the development of young children. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation in five PAUD institutions. The findings indicate that the implementation of STEAM enhances critical thinking, creativity, and fine motor skills in children. The use of Loose Parts media proves effective in stimulating children's imagination and skills in science, arts, and mathematics. Additionally, teachers' pedagogical competence plays a crucial role in the success of STEAM implementation, although resource limitations remain a primary challenge. The study concludes that STEAM has great potential to improve the quality of learning in PAUD with adequate support and resources.  Keywords: STEAM Learning, Loose Parts Media, Teacher Competence.
