Hubungan Jenis Kelamin Dan Sumber Informasi Dengan Pengetahuan Remaja Mengenai Penyakit Menular Seksual (Pms)

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  determine  the  relationship  of  gender  and knowledge  resources with teens about sexually transmitted diseases in SMAN 1 Warunggunung. This study was conducted in August with a population of 400 people. Sistemetik sampling quota sampling, the sample size of 80 people. The results showed  that female respondents had low knowledge, while respondents were male sex has a high knowledge. The results of the study with a statistical test (chi-square) shows that there is a relationship  between  sex  with  a  teenager's  knowledge  about  sexually transmitted diseases with a value of P = 0.00 (P> 0.01). The mass media is a source of information chosen by the most knowledgeable respondents are high, while the parents are giving the lowest information where only 18 people.  Results  of  statistical  tests  (Chi-Square)  obtained  P  =  0.00  (P<0.01).
